We had to pull out our chemistry books for this one. This salt crystal is made with clear acrylic rod and painted acrylic balls. Balls are drilled to receive the rod which is glued to ensure that children aren't inspired to disassemble the structure. While we are accustomed to rising to a good challenge this simple design was just plain fun. Materials: clear acrylic rod and acrylic balls
