Background
Designed by world-renowned architect, Cesar Pelli, the 560 Mission Street building is a 32-story, 775,000 sq. ft., core and shell high-rise, located in the congested area of South of Market District in San Francisco. The three elevator lobbies feature 16 ft high ceilings that could not accomodate flat panels. By gluing lumasite to acrylic side panels we created three dimensional frames which could then be installed easily into the ceiling grid.
